AI for patient scheduling and resident messages. The new funding values EliseAI at $4 billion.

Metaview: $60M raised

AI tools that help recruiters handle hiring tasks. Total funding now stands at $110 million.

Reco: $55M raised

Helps businesses control what AI can access and change in their apps. Total funding: $140 million.

Relay: $36M raised

Voice devices and AI for people working in factories, hotels and healthcare. Customer International Paper led the funding.

ElevenLabs: $300M employee share sale

Employees sold shares in the AI voice company at a $22 billion valuation. This is money for sellers, not new funding for the company.

Halluminate: $30M to teach AI real-world finance

Builds practice tasks and tests that help AI learn financial work. Oak HC/FT led the funding. The goal: AI that can handle realistic business assignments, not just answer test questions. October 1.

Ascerta: $18M to track whether AI pays off

Helps companies see what their AI tools cost, who uses them and whether they deliver value. Formerly Pay-i, it raised the round led by Dell Technologies Capital. September 30.

Novele: $17M for smarter building energy

Combines AI software and energy storage to help commercial buildings manage electricity use. Boisei Labs led the round. A practical use for AI beyond the office screen. September 30.

OpenADMET: $34.8M in research awards

The Octant, UCSF and OMSF initiative is building open data and AI tools to help predict how potential medicines behave in the body. These are research awards, counted separately from company funding. September 30.

DevDay introduced ongoing AI agents, a new model and more tools for shared work and software development. Availability varies by product and plan.

Google: a new Gemini, limited access

Gemini 4 Argon targets demanding work and computer security. Selected security specialists get it first; wider access is planned.

Claude: faster everyday work

Anthropic says Sonnet 5.5 answers faster and can cost less per task than Sonnet 5. Try it on work you already do and compare the results.

Gemini: save instructions once

New “skills” let you reuse instructions, such as your writing style. Less repeating yourself. Rolling out to adults globally.

CoreWeave: tools to improve AI

Amazon + OpenAI: business agents

An early-access service lets businesses run OpenAI agents in Amazon’s cloud, with tools and human approval steps. Preview in three US regions.

Microsoft: Copilot gets more ways to work

AMD agreed to buy World Labs, which builds AI that creates interactive 3D spaces. The stock deal is expected to close by year-end, subject to approvals.
